You need to tell her that she needs to do everything she can to get in the USA before she has the baby and yes you can put the baby on your medical insurance and you can take care of both of them that way good luck

You would need to get insurance, but since you are not married she and your baby wouldn’t be covered anyway.
Where is she coming from?
She would also need to be a LEGAL resident of the U.S.
Just getting married to have her a citizen isn’t going to work either. There will be repercussions later.

If you want to have a child in USA your fiance will need to be a resident of USA.The visa she will get will last only for 3 months. Then she will need to get back to her birth-country and get another one.
There are a lots of programs(legal) on internet where you can get a life-time green card.Try on or.
You can also visit USA goverment website for more informations.
But until then you will need(she will need)to wait and wait.

You need to start saving money. You’re going to need it to pay the hospital and the doctors. About $2,000 should do it if there are no complications and she only stays overnight.

It wouldn’t matter if you did have insurance. Private insurers do not cover pre-existing conditions for 12 to 18 months after coverage begins. And they wouldn’t cover a girlfriend anyway, only a legal wife who was already married to you and covered under your insurance BEFORE the pregnancy.
If she gets here before the baby is born, she may or may not be able to get Medicaid to cover the baby’s expenses, but probably not her own. Her hospital stay and doctors would not be covered, only the baby’s stay and pediatrician in the hospital, etc. Get ready to shell out some dough.
If you cannot handle this financially, she may be better off to have the baby where she is and come later – depending on her situation where she is. New immigration laws that I don’t know all the details of went into effect last July. A lady who works for Medicaid told me that they have a lot of people freaking out when they get here now and can’t get Medicaid anymore. They still assume they can, unaware of the new regulations.

If your fiance is awaiting the fiance visa, she will NOT be able to go to the US on a tourist visa or her application will be denied. She has no choice but to have the baby in her home country. You will be able to apply for US citizenship for the baby upon arrival in the US as the child of a US citizen (assuming that you are a citizen or permanent resident).

well, first thing is first. Before you knocked her up, you should have been able to take care of her and the baby. That means providing them with health insurance. It is unfair for you to think other Americans want to shoulder the responsibilty of your kids because you couldn’t figure out how a condom works.
BTW- I just had a baby and it cost about 40,000 total(Thank God I have insurance)Remember that next time you get frisky

You are a U.S. citizen who filed an I-129F, Petition for Alien Fiance(e). The petition was approved and was forwarded to the consulate overseas where your fiancee resides. Now she is pregnant.
Approval of a nonimmigrant visa petition, (i.e. I-129F petitions) means that the beneficiary (your finacee) has been found eligible for the requested classification. However, approval does not give any status or right. Actual status is given when the beneficiary is given the proper visa and uses it to enter the United States.
I understand your desire to be present at the time of your child’s birth, but having or not having medical insurance has nothing to do nor would it help to speed things up for visa issuance. You are indeed in a predicament here as there is absolutely nothing you can do about it. If I were you, I’d take off work and be there to welcome the arrival of your new baby. Congratulations and good luck to you both!
